I have tried several small size fryers and most have felt very inexpensive and none had a drain.
This fryer has a good feel/weight to it and it has a drain, a drain is a must have in my opinion and I would not even consider a fryer without a drain now that I have had one.

Solid product, just keep in mind that the oil box can’t be closed to the point it clicks shut or somesuch, so when pouring the oil back into the fryer it might open slightly, leaking the oil.
And for anyone who does not have a working dishwasher like me, it can be a chore to clean. And the main case is too big for a standard kitchen sink. So clean it all for the first use, and then afterward just clean everything but the main case, only doing so if you feel it’s gotten particularly dirty.
Oh, and be very careful when cleaning the lid, the edges cut my palm.

This kitchen must have is amazing. The option to double fry is the best part. There is also the timer which helps regulate and maintain grease temperatures. I love it!!!

Temperature control could be a bit higher but other than that, happy with the purchase
