We are happy with this coffee maker. Have had it for about a month, makes a gray hot cup of coffee.

I decided on this as my new 12 cup against the Mr. Coffee and B & D value drip machines. This coffee maker has a very nice carafe of thick glass, sturdy handle and a no drip spout. The lid opens up/down and not side/side which makes under the counter a little more awkward. The drip spigot is also attached to the lid and moves up and down with the lid opening/closing. I broke off the plastic pieces so the spigot would not remain attached when I opened the lid. The thermostat is set to 160 degrees and could be a little warmer. But the carafe is the most beneficial part of this maker.

Easy to use and the unit stays on until I turn it off. No problems and I’ve owned this model for a long time. It is durable.

This coffee pot is a good, basic pot for coffee. No fuss, no muss. It brews fairly fast, and seems to keep grounds out… One tip: put the filter in and the coffee grounds in, then close the lid, THEN put the glass pot under it. The spring holds the top up and it can overflow… but that is easy to prevent. Good price, too.
